Bob Dales Memorial Concert

The performances by both of our bands were fantastic!

The Junior section played with a confidence far beyond their experience, and the Seniors demonstrated the fruits of rehearsing every week. A credit to our tutoring team.

Bag Pack Event

A huge well done to the band members, conductors and adult members, parents and committee who turned up and packed bags at our local Tesco store on Saturday.

Rememberance Week

I am the Principal Cornet player of the senior section of the East Riding Youth Brass Band, and last week the band played at the Driffield Children's Armistice Service on Sunday 6th November.  This is where I played my 1st of 6 Last Posts.
On Friday 11th November in the morning I played my 2nd at the Driffield Memorial Gardens, then in the afternoon I did my 3rd at the Headlands School (Bridlington) in front of 1000 people, this was their first Memorial Service that they had done and please to say they have asked me back for next year.
My 4th was at The Royal British Legion Armistice concert with the Driffield Silver Band on Saturday night. Sunday was my 5th, at the Bridlington Armistice with Bridlington Excelsior Band and my last one for this year was at Driffield All Saints Church where I represented both ERYBB and DSB.

Summer Concert Success

Mark Blakeston, the Mayor of Driffield was kind enough to send a note following the summer concert.11

Please can you pass on my thanks to all involved for the invitation to your East Riding Youth Brass Band Concert.

My wife and I really enjoyed the evening and all the band members and organisers do Driffield proud!
